Hi this is a review of the Holy Stone F181 RC Quadcopter Drone uses a 6 exit quark up that you can see here and a commoner leaving camera uses a HD camera so let's just go ahead and unbox it and see what coming side so look like we have some information here.
I'm a user menu showing you have to use everything here and there is a little quick user menu for new player then we have low reveal card and then here's a quadcopter itself so here again everything you see in the package you got some blade guard right here so you have to install these look like these set of foot for the war captain you have quark up that celje pretty light and it is the camera module which step to the bottom of this look I just lie into like that there we go and come on these four set up light right.
Here you also have a kit with the screwdriver set up lay and also in micro SD card reader now if you have properly the battery let's see here is the battery with a charger mopar you have two different charger for two battery to me see watch the additional battery.
The remote control is plastic to kind of cheap but we see how that works so look like the additional batteries are you installing here and it's cover underneath flap here so one thing I all you don't like is the fact that you have to always take the camera out in order to access the battery and which mean you could potentially damage this camera.
There's a little attachment here you take this camera off so look at you can use the auto kind of camera here pretty small little unit the bottom here you have the charging port you have the on/off switch and then you have the video let him for this video here and then there's some LED do and there's your remote we got some information.
Look like directional pad nice patio porch for trimming led in the middle here is to button up top so we're going to have touchdown see what's going on here so you can see here I have the light bar install they're pretty easy just one school to install via and at the bottom of the feet is also install everything is in place now so I'm go ahead charge it up and plywood so I been playing with the f1 81 quadcopter for the past two weeks.
I managed to take it to the park about two or three times total and I playing around my house a few time around my house is a lot of tweets it was a bit tougher to play with so I like to take it to the park but the only shoes that when you take it to the park there's a big open field and with that there's a lot of wind sometimes so I had to be careful anyway I crash it quite often it hit threes it crashing to the ground it ran into trees and after all that is two minutes to walk fine.
Nothing ever fought off it the place or scratch a little bit and the feet are damaged and scratch but nothing bad lee i do want to point out initially I install now feedback word I have to fig install fun word and backward and what happened is the camera actually was hitting it.
The camera is actually picking up Lafitte so by moving the feet to the proper side on each side it was a lot better I feel like the springy plastic fig here really helps put breaking a lot of the fall I went hit the ground on a grass cutter and with the feet bounce a little bit and I also went to fall I just let it fall and when I get near the book at the bottom I usually give it a little bit of power trying to control but sometimes even with a lot of power is falling too fast.
One way to recover they were the one thing I do like about these guys that the batteries is installing side a unit here and it's a door to close it and then a camera go underneath that and doing all my time playing with it the phone or that stopped the batteries never come out unlike the previous version I have which of the battery stick at the bottom and you could fly now the now scientists is that since the very excited compartment there's no ventilation it seems and the battery do get pretty hard toward the end after you run.
There's one thing interesting in this unit and that is the ability to record to go home so let me show you the controller right here so in this controller if you match this right arrow here that is on the left stick if you hit that button it basically try to go home that sounds pretty easy but in practice it was a lot harder than that so what happened is I get my quad to go out of way maybe you know 100 feet in front of me or something then qty instruction which I had to ask the company because it was not really written well in a menu.
I have to turn it around so it's the front of the unit like heads you can see there's a boob side you can turn around and I should after you turn around you can press this button and they will try to come back to remote control wherever the remote control is the problem is that you know unlike some of the fancy machine this one if you try to just basically go on a straight path towards you towards the remote control basically you need to basically a clear I side so if it has three you'll run to the tree with someone in a way to hit someone so the other thing is that if you have let's say wind blowing at their choir it was drifts away and they were trying to go straight in the same path and result is that it will be far away from the row and actually it doesn't get close.
What I do is I just test it by pressing the button it will try the beep it'll be P and it will come back and s it's coming back I make some adjustment for coming back and you can get out of that mode by pressing that button again so I do want to point that out so yes it does what it's supposed to do but it doesn't do it really well so in case anyone one wondering about that speaking with the wind is quite hot the best work when there's really no win but usually when you play outdoor lists are we going to be a little bit about wind outside.
I found an under-five map i'll win Houston handled like a chairman no problem at all i buy it under ten mile per hour winds still okay but you're going to drain the battery a little bit fast the fastest we're not playing hisses when it was 14 mile-per-hour it was out in the field and during that time I was basically constantly making an adjustment in order to keep it straight or hovering toward me or whatever direction I'm trying to go so it's possible but it's a lot more walk.
Anything less than five hour per hour when it can be really stable and easy to play with so if you are struggling and fighting with the win what you're going to find is that the battery is going to cut in half because you constantly make an adjustment and the motors working really hard to help you out next.
Let's talk about the camera there's a camera underneath here this camera is you know spec 720p and it does have a 720p sensor however the optics is pretty terrible on it you will record footage as you can see from these foot through out this video there's no Gameboy anything so the camera is mounted right now.
The vibration from the motor the play will transfer over to and you can see the image is not horrible for video the other thing I want to point out is that it does record the sound and unless you're not moving in the unit is up you're not going to be to hear anything else so as soon as units are you in here's the play a whirling, finally I want to talk about a pictures quality when you try to take a picture when yes pretty hard to do that unless you just stay in one spot so if you are you know in hover mode with not a lot of wind you can take a decent good pictures but assume you're moving the camera is not fast enough you can take a pictures can be blurry.
Finally I want to get into the battery life as I mentioned previously already at a very last about 10 minute and even with the camera on the whole time it seems to last about eight to ten minutes which is quite decent these batteries are 750 million lithium polymer so they last a decent amount they do get kinda hot if you're playing in a strong winning condition you're going to cut your playtime down dramatically so having two batteries really helped you can play with one and when one more right now you can land it putting the other one and continues they do recommend that you let the unit cool down a little bit so you don't grab on the motor but I just play it back to back and that's seem to be not an issue at all.
Nothing that's kind of cool is this light has these led here when you first tell them on when you trying to pair them with your receiver lingt bling and then after that they'll stay on you can turn it up if you want to and also a mind you want to tell mom because you can seem a nice kind of cool to play.
Tonight especially we have a big oven for you also these light will blink and your receiver or your transmitter will also be to let you know that you're very slow after you know nine ten minute and that's when you need to know them to land it even if you don't land it it's going to slowly drop down and it's going to drop and sit down up now so overall just little F 181 clock up to it's a pretty fun quadcopter compared to the discovery quadcopter this one is a little bit more heavy but managed to fight the wind pretty well the discovery park up to me was fun it was very light so I seem to even when a small if I really am very was able to last him it like this one this one is really fun you do not have to install these plague our which is actually give it more stability and control but we display guard you're going to say your play if you crash it which I do quite often so another thing I want to point out about this unit is that it has one more features and that's the flip over features you press this button up here you will hear a low beep and in you can rotate any direction and it will do a full 360 flip and land back on the side the only roblem is you need to have a lot of distant when you're doing that if you're doing a load to the ground is going to flip and doing that I'm just going to fall and that far is it good three or four feet so if you don't have enough space when it falls can hit the ground so make sure you're really high up when you're doing those kind of thing the remote control cell is a not label there's no label on it at all there's no this is screen here can I give you an idea of what's going on put on that I find out playing with it for a while you will be able to figure it out pretty easy so that's my quick review of the f181 quadcopter it's a free phone no toy it's pretty easy to fly if you don't manage to run into crazy windy condition the video is listen for just kind of budget and this kind of price range pictures quality it's going to crap but I give you an idea it's kind of fun a little toy to play with introduction into quadcopter and you can start laying with these and get an idea of it before you buy the really fancy three for a dollar thousand-dollar one just respect other don't fly over the house and your don't stalk people enjoy. Thank you.
